Hello and Welcome!​

Welcome to a Portfolio of landscape and abstract paintings.  I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world in all its changing glory.  Samples of my art can be viewed at Trails Cafe on Wilson Street in Ancaster, or through the Dundas Valley School of Art annual auction or occasionally at the Hamilton Art Battle.

I have been immersed in artistic endeavors for many years, experimenting with visual images since high-school.  Over the past decade I have been enamored with various styles and media, including water colour, guauche, acrylic and oils.  I mainly paint landscapes and enjoy putting a bit of an abstract flavour to them.  I welcome your comments on this Portfolio and I hope you'll visit my studio in Ancaster, Ontario.

After raising a family, I received degrees in Anthropology at McMaster and Education at Brock, leading to five years travel and teaching elementary students in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Cambodia and Dubai. 

​I was a franchisee with Cocktails and Canvas for about five years in Hamilton and the surrounding area and instructed over 200 live painting events.​  Now retired, I look forward to having a greater focus on art.
